Earth Core

The Earth Core

Part one

1a)Crust- is its top layer, with a thickness of 5km (3mi) to 10km (6mi) for the oceanic crust, and 30km (20mi) to 50km (30mi) for the continental crust.

b)Lower/Upper Mantle- Is a ~ 2900km(1800mi) thick shell of compressed seal and heated rock, beginning below the earth’s crust (lithosphere).

c)Outer Core- extends to a depth of around 3000 miles beneath the surface. It is believed that this outer core is made up of super heated liquid molten lava.

d)Solid Inner Core- the Inner Core extends another 900 miles inward towards the centre of the earth. It is believed that this Inner Core is a solid ball of mostly Iron and Nickel.

Pressure-Hydraulic Brakes

Part One

1)In hydraulic pressure the pressure is used for stopping the vehicle, hydraulic pressure used to press the pads against the rotors without requiring any more pressure on the brake pedal and it’s used in racing cars and trucks to stop them a lot faster.

2)The pressure that is involved in hydraulic brakes is air pressure.

How is high blood pressure diagnosed?

Blood pressure is measured by putting a blood pressure cuff around your arm, inflating the cuff and listening for the flow of blood. Your doctor can measure the blood too if you ask him. If your blood pressure is high on more than two occasions, you probably have high blood pressure.
