Cells and Systems-Characteristics of living things

Paramecium

paramecium

paramecium

1. The cells that the paramecium has are 2 nuclei one of them is small and the other one is big the big one operates as the director of the cell’s activities rather like a little brain. The smaller one is used for reproduction. The paramecium splits in half (fission) just as the ameba does. First the smaller nucleus splits and the whole paramecium splits. Occasionally two paramecium exchange material and form a new paramecium. This is called conjugation.

2. The way it gets energy is eating tiny algae, plants.etc. The cilia propels the food into a tiny mouth opening of the paramecium .The food is then shoved down a little tube called a gullet that leads to the protoplasm or stuffing of the cell.
3. The way it grows is eating tiny algae, plants and more… stuff that it can find in the ponds.
4. The way it reproduces is by splitting to two.
5. The way it responds to it environment is pretty good it has place to eat and it has where to live it lives wherever there is scum.
6. The way it produces wastes is it has two vacuoles at either end of its body to get rid of excess water and wastes.
7. It has a life span that splits to two. The bigger the nucleus is, in the paramecium it splits up to another paramecium.

Sunflower

sunflower

sunflower

1. The cells that the flower has are: cell wall, cell membrane, vacuole, Nucleus, Nucleolus, Nuclear Membrane, Chloroplast, Mitochondrion, Cytoplasm, Amylosplast, Centro some, Rough ER, Smooth ER, Ribosome, Golgi Body.

2. The way it uses energy is by turning always towards where the sun is.

3. The way it grows is using sun power and a lot of water that is traveling under water.

4. The way it reproduces is birds and other animals takes its seeds and drop somewhere, where they walked or were flying OR people taking its seeds and burry it.

5. The way it responds to its environment looks god because the sunflower has always more sunflowers near it so I don’t think that the sunflower has a really bad environment near it.

6. The way it produces wastes is by using the oxygen that is in the air.

7.Its lifespan is until it can’t reproduce any seeds any more, and it actually happens after like 6 times of growing seeds.

Spruce Tree

Spruce-tree

Spruce-tree

1. The cells that the flower has are: cell wall, cell membrane, vacuole, Nucleus, Nucleolus, Nuclear Membrane, Chloroplast, Mitochondrion, Cytoplasm, Amylosplast, Centro some, Rough ER, Smooth ER, Ribosome, Golgi Body.

2. The way it uses energy is always growing to the side of where the sun is.

3. The way I grows is using the sunlight power and by using the water under ground.

4. The way it reproduces is by making cones fall on the ground and by the wind taking it with it.

6. The way it produces wastes is by using the oxygen that is in the air.

7. The spruces tree lifespan is until it doesn’t dry to death.

Shark

1. The cells that the shark has are: Mitochondria, Ribosome, Rough ER, Plasma Membrane, nucleus, nucleolus, chromatin, nuclear pore, nuclear envelope, Golgi complex, Centriole, Free Ribosome, Smooth ER, Lysosome, Microtubules and Cytoplasm.

2.The way that the shark uses energy is eating Bony Fish ant it eats primarily fish, although the great white shark will also prey upon seals, sea lions and other marine mammals.

3. The way it grows is by eating Bony Fish and more.

4. The way it reproduces is by sometimes laying eggs or fertilized eggs.

5. The way it responds to its environment is: They have good eyesight and the ability to see colors. Their eyelid closes from the bottom of the eye. Even when the water is not clear, or when it is dark, sharks can easily locate their prey. They have an excellent sense of smell and can smell the odor of their prey from over one-quarter of a mile away.

6. The way that the shark produces wastes is pooing what it eats.

7. The sharks’ life span foe example is that Sharks, like all fish, grow larger throughout their lives. Even after maturity (when they are able to reproduce), they continue to grow, but at a slower pace. Different species of shark grow at different rates.

Mountain Gorilla

Mountain Gorilla

Mountain Gorilla

1. The cells that are in the Gorilla are : Mitochondria, Ribosome, Rough ER, Plasma Membrane, nucleus, nucleolus, chromatin, nuclear pore, nuclear envelope, Golgi complex, Centriole, Free Ribosome, Smooth ER, Lysosome, Microtubules and Cytoplasm.
2. The way it uses energy is by eating large amounts of vegetation and spends about 30 percent of each day foraging for food. They consume roots, leaves, and stems of herbs, vines, and bark from trees, shrub-sized plants, and bamboo shoots.
3. The Mountain Gorilla grows by eating a lot of food and hanging from tree to tree.
4. The way that the Mountain Gorilla reproduces is by when a newborn gorilla weighs about 1.8 kg (4 lb), and spends its first few months of life in constant physical contact with its mother. In its first few months of life, infant Mountain Gorillas ride on their mother’s backs. At an earlier stage, the mother will almost constantly be holding the infant. It begins to walk at around four or five months, and starts to put plant parts in its mouth between four and six months. At eight months it regularly ingests solid food. Occurs around three years of age, although juveniles may remain with their mothers for years after that.
5. The way it responds to its environment is good because it has where to live, sleep and more…
6. The way it produces waste is by pooing what it eats and hanging of trees and more.
7. The maximum life span of mountain gorillas in the wild is difficult to estimate. The longest-lived gorillas in captivity reached ages of thirty to thirty-five years.

Human

Human

Human

1. The cells in the human for example are: CD2+ T, CD3+ T, CD4+ T cells.
2. The way it uses energy is by eating and drinking.
3. The way it grows is by playing sports and eating and maybe hanging of the trees.
4. The way it reproduces is by doing SEX and by sperm going into the egg.
5. The Human responds to its environment is excellent because it has where to live where to work, study and buy stuff.
6. The way it produces wastes is by pooing and doing sports.
7. Every Pearson has a different life span because some people live longer than others and some people being sick and then die. So there is no people that live the same time.
