Sorry

First let’s see what the actual word means.

Looking into the dictionary.com website SORRY has 5 different kinds of meaning
1.Feeling regret, compunction, sympathy, pity, etc.: to be sorry toleave one’s friends; to be sorry for a remark; to be sorry for someonein trouble.
2.Regrettable or deplorable; unfortunate; tragic: a sorry situation;to come to a sorry end.
3.Sorrowful, grieved, or sad: Was she sorry when her brother died?
4.Associated with sorrow; suggestive of grief or suffering;melancholy; dismal.
5.Wretched, poor, useless, or pitiful: a sorry horse.

But people usually just overuse this word, with no feeling or any emotion behind it. (Sorry I’m talking like a little girl)←This is what I mean by over using. People say it but they don’t really mean it just like how I said it up there. I didn’t really mean it.

To be more specific here, I live in Canada and I’m hearing this word every day.
I would give you an example. Say I’m walking and mistakenly I step on someone’s foot; you would think I would say sorry but no, the person who I stepped on would say sorry to me.
WHERE’S THE LOGIC IN THAT?!?!?People would say sorry for walking behind me. People would say sorry for standing in front of me in a line. Even for looking at me. Well now I’m just over exaggerating but you get my point.

CANADIANS ARE TOO NICE!!!! I’m guessing the whole world knows this about us… but I’m just living my life, having fun, and enjoy every day!
